Lady Ciel Stamp by K-Hime Fall into my Arms by Kittybaka-chan

This is a short story that my friend, Autumnlioness, requested.

Love never lasts. Boys, who needs them. I promise to never fall in love again.
In the bustling hallways of Loveless High School is a girl with brown wavy hair, bright green eyes, and well tanned skin. She caught the eyes of several boys, but she ignored them with hatred. Lily, was her name, and she promised to never fall in love again. After many years of falling in love and crying over break ups, she decides to give up on love. Moving to Loveless High, was the best choice for her. She can now change into her own cool nerdy style, and have fun by herself with some girls. No boys. Carrying her binder in her arms and a heavy bag on one shoulder, she headed off to Chemistry. Ready to start over. Without love.

The teacher was a grumpy little man with a deep voice. He pointed to a seat near the back. "That's your seat forever," he boomed. Lily nodded, and walked down the rows of science tables. No one was in class yet, except for a sleeping boy in the corner. She let her hand slide over the cool black marble top and set her things on the ground. For the next few minutes, she doodled. The bell rang sharply, nearly making Lily jump out of her seat, but the boy in the corner did not stir. Kids bustled into the classroom. Scraping chairs and loud whispers of the students filled the classroom. A redhead girl sat next to Lily with a big smile on her face. Her eyes were a brilliant blue that shone in the lights. "Hello, I'm Abby!" "Hello, I'm Lily," she replied, "Where are you from?" She was cut short by the teacher who shouted loudly. Everyone went silent. "You are getting new partners today since we have a new student," Everyone turned to look at Lily, but she ignored them. Two by two he partnered each person. Abby was partnered with her best friend while Lily was partnered with the still sleeping guy. "This will be your partner, David," She nodded and watched as the teacher walked away. "Today we are going to mix some chemicals," Lily cut him off, and leaned towards the boy, "David, David, its time for you to wake up." The said boy slowly lifted his head and looked at her. At a closer look, Lily thought he was pretty cute. He had dark brown hair that appeared almost black, chocolate colored eyes hidden by his long bangs, and light tanned skin. "Morning," Lily smiled, "Morning," He stretched and grabbed a chemical, "You must be my partner. What's your name?" "I'm Lily. I just moved here." Lily handed him some tongs, "Why?" he asked, "That is not your business," "Well anyway, I hope you like it here," She nodded in reply. They were the first ones to finish, and Lily watched the clouds go by. When she glanced at David, he was already asleep. Smiling, she played with his sleeping face.
After a few weeks, she became accustomed to the school, and made many friends, but she turned down all the boys who asked her out. She found out David was the type to sleep anywhere, but when he was awake, he had interesting conversations. "David, why do you hang out by yourself?" she asked. David shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know." They had became best friends during her first week, so they were pretty close. Everyday they walked home together, and her friends would make fun of her for that. Today was one of those days. David was walking her home, and they were talking about a problem on their math homework when a car drove up. A boy with shaggy blond hair and light blue eyes stepped out in front of them with a surprised expression. Lily stepped back and watched as his ride left. "Lily! Long time since you left!" he smiled. She glared at him, "Go away Eric," He spread out his arms, "That's no way to treat your boyfriend," "Ex," she hissed. Eric looked at David with curious eyes, "Is this your new boyfriend?" David said nothing, but his eyes were on Lily. "Hey, did she tell you that she went out with a bunch a boys, and all of them broke her heart?" "SHUT UP!" she shouted, but Eric went on, "I managed to keep her steady, and when i confessed, she accepted. How innocent she is." Lily looked at him, "You decieved me. You told me to go this place where your friends tried to hurt me!" Eric shrugged his shoulders, "I thought you were one of those kind of girls. Right now my girlfriend is on a trip, so I'm lonely. How about joining me?" She shook her head violently, "Who would go with a bastard like you?" Eric snapped, and grabbed her wrist harshly, "Don't call me that. Bitch!" Bam! The world went silent. Everything was in slow motion in Lily's eyes. David's fist punched Eric square in the face and a side kick to the ribs. Eric flew backwards and landed into some bushes. "Don't call her that. You are the worst man ever, and you will always be lonely." He grabbed Lily's wrist softly and pulled her to a bench in a nearby park. Suddenly she burst into tears and cried into his chest. She told him everything about her past relationships. By the time she was done, his shirt was soaked. "I'm sorry," she sniffed, David shook his head, "It's alright. Now I know why you don't go out with anybody," she nodded. She smiled and hugged David tightly, "Thank you," David looked at her, leaned down, and kissed her on the lips. Surprised, Lily pushed him away, "What are you doing?" "I'm teaching you love can last," he sighed, "If you are not ready, then I will wait faithfully like a puppy," Lily giggled, "You remind me of one," David got up and started to walk away, "Come on, we need to get home," Lily looked up to see the sun already setting, and instinctively put a finger to her lip. A tickling sensation was left there. Her heart pounded like a drum, and her cheeks were red as a strawberry. She loved him.
Quickly she ran up to him. "Wait, David," He turned around to see Lily staring at him. Smiling he lifted her chin and kissed her again on the lips. Lily closed her eyes and leaned towards him to return the kiss. It was sweet and soft like a flower. All of her past relationships disappeared from her mind and was replaced by him. She felt his arm wrap around her waist and she put her arms around his neck. "Forget your promise. I'm sure God forgives you." she felt his lips move on hers, "I think so too," There stood a kissing couple, making a vow to never leave each other underneath the smiling moon.
